About Arlene

From an early age, I was captivated by stories - tales of love, adventure, and human connection. Photography became my medium to tell these stories, but it was weddings that stole my heart.

Every love story is special, and I strive to capture the emotion, beauty and atmosphere of the day in an artistic and honest way.

Above all, I want to create work that is honest, timeless and impactful.

what you can expect

  • My approach is a combination of the documentary style along with some posed photos. I will help guide you by providing light direction but nothing too stiff or unnatural. A lot of my poses utilize movement and involve you interacting with your partner in a more relaxed way.

  • For wedding days, I don’t do shot lists. I love to see all of your wedding and photo inspo and will use it as a guide of the overall vibe you’re going for, but won’t outright copy another artist’s work.

  • As much as possible I aim to be a fly on the wall and follow you around as you’re being present and capture your wedding day as it unfolds.
